Maria Luiza (Malu) Fragoso  PHD In Arts and Multimedia by the University of Campinas (UNICAMP) In São Paulo ( 2003) and develops research on artistic experimentation in telematic environments. Her doctoral thesis focused on trans disciplinary aspects between art, science, technology and indigenous cultures. Malu was a professor at the Visual Arts Department at the University of Brasília between 1993 and 2009 and is currently professor at the Visual Communication Design Department at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Has been thesis supervisor since 2005, at both institutions. Was an elected member of the National Association of Researcher in Fine Arts’s directory for the period 2010-2012.  Is the coordinator of the research group REDE- Art and Technology, trans cultural nets in multimedia and telematics, and coordinator, with Guto Nobrega of the NANO – Nucleus of Art and New Organisms, a research lab for exploring the intersection of art science and technology. 


Tania Fraga Bachelor in Architecture and Urbanism at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1974 ) , Master of Architecture and Urbanism at the University of Brasilia (1980 ) , PhD in Communication and Semiotics from the Catholic University of São Paulo (1995 ) . Was as resident artist in USA in 1986 with a grant from the Fulbright Commission ; was a visiting scholar in 1991/1992 , 2010 and 2011 at ‘ The George Washington University , and in November 2006 the ‘ London University ‘ , England. Conducted post doctoral integrating virtual and physical reality in the School of Communication and Arts at USP and FAPESP grant in 2010/2011 , and the interactive arts center studies CAiiA – STAR interactive arts in England in 1999 with a grant from CAPES . He is currently deputy director of the Institute of Mathematics and Art and SP is associate researcher ( retired ) , University of Brasilia . Has experience in the area of ​​Arts and Architecture , with emphasis in Computational Art ( virtual reality ) and Contemporary Art 

Guto Nóbrega is Doctor of Philosophy by The Planetary Collegium program (formely CAiiA-STAR) based on the School of Art and Media, University of Plymouth – UK (2009), where he developed 4 years of research under supervision of Prof. Roy Ascott. His doctoral thesis, funded by CAPES – BRAZIL, is a trans disciplinary research in the fields of art, science, technology and nature in which he investigates how the confluence of these domains (specially in the last decades) has informed the creation of new aesthetics experiences. As a result of this study it was developed a theoretical-practical intervention in the field of arts with focus on the ideas of interactivity, telematics, field theories, and hyperorganisms. He has been developing series of artworks which encompasses drawings, photos, videos and robotics systems. He is artist and researcher with MA in Communication, Technology and Aesthetics by ECO-UFRJ – Brazil (2003) and is Bachelor in Engraving by the Escola de Belas Artes – UFRJ – Brazil (1998). Since 1995 he lectures at the UFRJ-Brazil where currently he holds a position as Adjunct Professor and coordinates the space NANO – Nucleous of Art and New Organisms, a research lab for exploring the intersection of art science and technology. His works have been presented widely in exhibitions and conferences such as: Arizona College of Fine Arts -Arizona US, ISEA Singapore, University of Quebec in Montreal s Coeur des Sciences, University of Applied Arts Vienna, Sala Parpalló – Valência Spain, LABoral – Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial, Gijon Spain, Facultad de Ciencias Sociais y Comunicación Universidad del País Vasco – Bilbao Spain, International Institute Of Biophysics Neuss Germany, Roland Levinsky Building, University of Plymouth UK, Art Centre Plymouth UK, Barbican Theatre Plymouth UK, Cornerhouse – Manchester UK.

Khaldoun Zreik was full Professor Hypermedia Department, University Paris 8 (since 01/09/2006), full Professor Computer Sciences Department, University of Caen, France (01/09/1993 until 31/08/2006). Currently Director of the CITU-Paragraphe Research Group (Creation, Interaction, Trans-disciplinary & Ubiquity), Paragraphe Laboratory, University of Paris 8; Director of the Master in Sciences “Digital: Challenges & Technology”, University Paris 8 / University Paris 13; Chairman of the Board of H2H-Lab GIS (Scientific Interest Group Human to Human Lab). H2H Lab Group is about 15 Research and Education Establishments specialized in Art, Design and New technology (elected in 2012 / ..); Member of the Advisory Board of C.L.I. Doctoral School (ED 224 Cognition, Language, Interaction); Research director & PhD supervisor since 1988; Member of IEEE Technical Committee on Computer Supported Cooperative Work in Design (since 2008).
